How is your business opportunity doing? November 15th, 2009

It has become common in the last few months for business associates to ask us how our Network Marketing Opportunity Tahitian Noni International is doing. Half seem to expect critical news for some reason. Maybe it is the news about the economic meltdown. Anyway, Tahitian Noni International have just sold over 100 million bottles of TAHITIAN NONI® Juice and introduced in 2009 a new super juice product called TAHITIAN NONI® n-Core.

Many companies are re-thinking their strategies, plans and business goals. It should not be a surprise to anybody that direct selling companies are reconsidering their products and business direction . This is simply common sense in any business segment. It seems to me that over the years direct sellers have always been changing and adapting new priorities. The current economic situation simply put more urgency into the reviews of their goals .

The main reason network marketing companies survive the ups and downs of the economy better than most established manufacturers and retailers is that their product reps are really volunteers. That’s right – volunteers! Sure they are lucratively paid commissions but at the end of the month they cannot be fired or downsized. It does not matter if some have a bad day, week or month, because there are so many independent product consultants, distributors and representatives that the sheer scale of economy kicks in and every month is a good month.

We are continuing to succeed at expanding our markets, finding new customers and increasing sales. We expect that Tahitian Noni International TAHITIAN NONI® n-Core to be as popular as the original product. Money is always tight, but a quality product is also always a better buy. As a result , we do not lack new people to introduce this amazing business opportunity to.

Products come and products go. Some companies start-up operations and some have reached the end of their life cycle. This is normal business as they teach it at Harvard . But if you are going to start a home based business, in order to succeed simply ensure that you join a opportunity and have a personal sponsor that are looking towards the future with confidence. Tahitian Noni International was our choice many years ago and is still today. We highly recommend it.

As indicated at the bottom of all our web pages, these statements have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration and these products are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease. Our Website has all the details you need to make an informed decision about Tahitian Noni products.

Choosing the Correct Sized Bra November 14th, 2009

Introduction

Over the years as I matured my bra size increased, particularly after having babies. Before that I was a size 34 bust, but after giving birth I went up in size. After menopause my bust size increased again and I found my normal bra did not fit me anymore. One day I took the plunge and went into my local underwear store and had myself properly fitted and measured. To my shock I discovered I was no where near the size I thought I was. The statistics from research carried out suggests that 70% of women are wearing the wrong bra size and many of these women have never actually been measured at all and so simply buy what they assume to be their size. Well if my experience is anything to go by then we women think we are a lot smaller than we are!

What most women do not realise is that a badly fitting bra can affect their health and well being. If for instance the bra is the wrong size it might cause severe back and shoulder pain with the constant resistance to the pressure on those areas of the body. As in the example above, bust size and shape will alter with variations of weight and hormonal change. This in turn will require a change in bra size. Because a woman’s shape may be in a constant state of flux, regular fittings about every 6 months are highly recommended.

To Find the Correct Bra Size

The best way to check that you are wearing the correct size bra is to go to a shop or store that offers a professional bra fitting service. A specially trained fitter will measure you to work out your correct size. The method used is to take a tape measure and place it underneath the bust and around the rib cage so that it feels secure but not uncomfortable. If the number measured in inches is an even number you add four, if it is an odd number you add five to give you your bra band size.

Once the band size is established the next measurement to find is the cup size. This is done by placing the tape measure over the fullest part of the bust and around the back all at the same level. Again this should be firm but not too tight. Your cup size is the difference between the two measurements. For example if your bust size is the same as your bra band size you are an A cup, a 1 inch difference = B cup, 2 inches = C cup, 3 inches = D cup and so on. All measurements taken are really only used as a guide to bra size because bras size can vary greatly from manufacturers to manufacturers. Sometimes a very experienced trained professional can judge your bra size by eye and will not need to use a tape measure. Because women vary so greatly in shape and size it is not only the size of bra that is important, but also the type of support required and distribution of weight. A professional fitter will be able to offer you advice on the correct type of bra to suit your needs.

During sales many big bras are available because the stock doesn’t move as quickly as the more common sized bras and quite often you will find a beautiful bra at a great price.

Tips for ensuring correct bra fit:-

  • If you find that your bra rides up your back it may be because it has stretched. Try tightening the bra with the hook and eye clasp or buying a smaller band size (32 instead of 34).
  • If the opposite is happening and your bra is too tight try another band size up or even a bra that has a wider band fitting. You can also get extra hooks to fit on the end of your current bra that will ease the tightness under the bust.
  • Bulging sides can be remedied by choosing a bra that offers more cup coverage or is one band size bigger.
  • If you find that your bust is bulging out of the cups then you will most likely need a larger cup or band size. (Unless of course that is the fashion statement you are aiming for!)
  • For women who have larger busts, a bra with wider shoulder straps or even padded ones will give relief from sore shoulders.
  • A sagging bust line can be overcome by choosing a bra that offers firmer support and avoiding stretchy fabrics.
  • An under-wired bra may give problems with soreness under the bust if not correctly fitted. In which some ladies prefer to wear a non-wired soft cup bra.
  • Straps that slip usually mean they are too long so they can be shortened to correct the problem. Otherwise choose a bra style with wider straps that will not slip down or buy a bra clasp to hold the straps together at the back

The Prevalence of Cancer

According to Cancer Research UK, breast cancer is the most common type of cancer in the UK and around 125 women a day are diagnosed with this particular form of cancer. Breast cancer rates have increased by 13% over the last ten years and one in nine women will develop breast cancer at some point in their lives. This may be due to the national screening programme, but early detection is vital for a good prognosis. Survival rates of five years or more after treatment is 80% and that means that there are a large number of women who require specialist bras especially after surgery.

As a result of the increased rates of breast cancer and manufacturers looking to specialise in new markets, the range of stylish Mastectomy bras and lingerie has increased quite considerably, so having had breast surgery does not mean that you can’t have stylish designer lingerie any longer.

Mastectomy Bra

Choosing lingerie after surgery where the breast or part of a breast has been removed can sometimes be quite difficult and there will naturally be a period of adjustment. Part of the rehabilitation will be to acquire a prosthesis to use in conjunction with a mastectomy Bra towards recovering the normal silhouette.

The amount of surgery you have had will decide the type of product you require. The prosthesis should match the natural remaining breast or if two are required they need to restore the natural outline. When going for a fitting for a mastectomy bra it is important to have the right prosthesis with you.

It is essential to visit a specialist post operative lingerie retailer if you require full figure bra fitting as this will enable you to be more comfortable and aid your recovery.

A Mastectomy bra is generally made from fabric that is designed to be more comfortable on sensitive and post-operative areas of skin, but this doesn’t mean you have to sacrifice style or elegance, and a wide range of beautiful post-surgery lingerie is obtainable. These can be purchased as complete sets with matching bottoms. Apart from the different fabrics used, the main difference of a Mastectomy bra is that is has pockets to accommodate the prostheses and generally there will be a choice of a higher neckline and higher panels between cups. A Mastectomy bra will usually have adjustable straps for effective support. There is no need not to be stylish and feminine; bras with satin and lace trim also feature. Some Mastectomy bras also have a silver lining which aids healing.

Where there is a bilateral mastectomy the bra will need to accommodate the natural breast in one cup and the prosthesis in the other. Ensure that you find a boutique with a qualified fitter to help you find exactly the correct size and fit to suit your shape. No prosthesis will look right if your bra does not fit properly and ideally the two should be fitted together, if that is not possible then choose the bra first.

Points to be aware of when choosing the correct mastectomy bra for you are:-

  • The prosthesis must fill the bra cup properly so that it doesn’t pucker or be over stretched
  • The underarm section is the same on both sides
  • The breasts are evenly aligned.

Where only part of the breast tissue has been removed (lumpectomy) then there is only a need for a breast enhancer. There are a range of styles and shapes for partial reconstruction usually made from silicone.

Polypropylene beans mould into the shape of the bra to give a really natural look and the beans allow air to circulate making it cool and comfortable.

There is also a range of swimsuits and bikinis designed with subtle modifications for the beach such as pockets for the prostheses, slightly higher necklines and closer underarm fitting with pre-formed cups to give natural contour to the figure. Again these come in every shape and size and don’t mean that you have to sacrifice new fashions, but they can be slightly harder to find.

Maternity Bras

When women become pregnant they outgrow their ordinary everyday bras very early on in pregnancy. The breasts become bigger and heavier in the first few weeks so a good support bra of the correct size is vital. As the pregnancy develops the breast size continues to change and fluctuate so regular measuring and fittings will help with comfort and health. Many midwives and retail outlets advise against purchasing an underwired bra during pregnancy and although there is no concrete evidence to show that underwires are harmful during this time, there does appear to be some potential risk. The reason for this advice is that the rigid wires found in underwired bras may interfere with the natural changes in the size and shape of the breast and restrict the increased blood flow to, and possibly hinder, the developing milk duct system. This in turn could cause major pain, discomfort and possibly mastitis during the feeding stage.

Shopping online can be a great way to find beautiful lingerie. Post operative bras are not necessarily all clinical or dull as you might expect and new styles and designs are being introduced all the time.

To make sure you are wearing the best supporting bra a professional measuring and fitting service is a must during pregnancy. It is important that you are measured every 6 to 8 weeks so that your specially trained fitter can assess your changing shape and fit you accordingly. When you are purchasing a maternity bra it is important that it offers you great support with wide straps and side panels. A wide under bust band and a deep centre at the front will also enhance this support.

A lot of pregnant women find that they feel very hot during pregnancy and a bra that is mainly cotton will help let the skin breathe. Look for a bra that has at least 4 rows of hooks and eyes so that your bra can grow through your pregnancy with you. Make sure that the bra fits without the breast spilling over the top and that the cups fit comfortably. As with your everyday bra make sure that the centre front is lying snugly on your breastbone, and if it’s within the first few weeks of pregnancy remember that your rib cage will expand so fit your bra on the tightest fastenings so that you have plenty of room for growth. The opposite will apply for maternity bras purchased later in pregnancy of course, fit on the loosest hook and eye so that when your rib cage shrinks after birth, you can tighten your bra accordingly.

Conclusion

During the early stages of a woman’s life she will need appropriate bras to suit each stage. During the early teenage years a more modest non wired bra is the most appropriate.

Later in adolescence where appearance is a serious business, a more fashionable good fitting bra to create a feminine silhouette is required.

In pregnancy a comfortable good supportive bra which has expanding fastenings allows for changes throughout the pregnancy without restriction and damage. Following the birth, a good nursing bra to allow for easy access needs to still support the breast as it fluctuates hourly during the day.

If women undertake vigorous exercise then it is doubly important she wears a good sports bra to reduce bounce as that stretches the pectoral muscles. Once this has occurred there is no way it can be rectified.

As a woman ages the breasts mature and so will need a good supportive structure that helps prevent sagging and yet retains a good outline. After menopause many women loose the full breast shape of their earlier years and at that point it is more important to find an appropriate type of bra that will help them feel good about themselves.

Many women have been unfortunate enough to have had a full or partial mastectomy in which case correct prosthesis and mastectomy bras are an essential part of the recovery programme.

Many women spend a great deal of time and money on hairdo’s, makeup and face pampering, yet often they neglect one of their greatest assets. Maybe it’s time we women start to think differently about the way we look after our bosoms’ and make sure they are clothed in comfortable, supportive and good looking items.

Researching Weight Loss Camps for Adults November 14th, 2009

Weight loss camps are a great way for adults to learn healthy eating habits and the tools they need to lose weight and keep it off. Not all weight loss camps are the same, though. But most weight loss camps are now offering fun and exciting weight loss programs that make losing weight a great and rewarding experience for its visitors. Whether you are young or old, male or female, there is a weight loss summer camp that is perfect for you.

One of the best indicators of how effective the came will be is to look at who is involved in running the camp and educating the campers. Many of these camps like those at www.weightlosscampsforadults.net are located in natural settings like on mountains or where beautiful lush greenery abound, some are even located on exotic beach resorts. This is to let guests feel as if they are on a vacation of which they are. As is touched upon in the preceding paragraph, as well as bringing to an end harmful habits, weight loss camps are great in that they help you let go of unwanted weight. By removing toxic compounds that are found inside visceral fat, which happens to be the origin for many types of nasty medical problems, excess water, is liberated that before was being utilized as the body’s reaction in diluting the toxic compounds.

Most families make the lifestyle change as well.  Activities are available just for the kids, while adults get to take off on their own adventures. If you are a golf fanatic, you might look for an adult weight loss camp located at a resort with a golf course.

On average, one week at weight loss retreats will cost you thirty eight hundred dollars, while a full month costs about twelve thousand dollars. There are some group health plans that will cover these costs, and once you have chosen a camp to attend, the admissions representative will help you determine if your plan is accepted. Weight loss summer camps for adults may have special packages that may be cheaper or shorter in duration. Be sure that the cost quoted is all-inclusive and there are no hidden charges that may be levied later. No matter how you pursue weight loss — adult weight loss camps or a simple healthy heating plan – the key is always restraint. You may crave sugar, fat, and mindless munching in front of the TV, but losing the pounds requires the self-discipline to say no, or to indulge but only briefly.

Good weight-loss camps direct their entire programs at changing behavior over the long term. Sports, activities, educational and clinical programs are all part of an overall clinical design to teach new behaviors and habits. For example, Medi-Weight Loss Clinics, a physician-supervised weight-loss program are promoted almost entirely as medical weight-loss clinics, while Wellspring Camps, a weight-loss camp for children, won’t accept any applicant whose weight is severe enough to require hospitalization. Admittance into the clinic thus can be determined by a physician’s individual philosophy of operation and perception of what the applicant should look like or weigh.

The Fall of The British Car Manufacturing Industry November 14th, 2009

It is difficult not to notice how few of our contract hire and lease cars are British. Where did it all go wrong and what happened to the 1,000,000 workers that were once employed in the UK car manufacturing industry?

It would perhaps be too simplistic to just say that the car industry was destroyed by the unions, although they certainly played a very major role in its collapse, which is ironic really when you consider the number of jobs and families that depended on the car industry for their livelihood. Poor management also played its part as did the governments of the day.

Whilst foreign car makers were getting their act together in terms of build quality, reliability and service, the British car manufacturing industry was slowly imploding. In the 1970’s the industry was effectively in the control of the unions. To avoid industrial action cars were allowed to go out to dealerships in a faulty condition, as finding fault with too many cars coming off the production line resulted in further walkouts.

1974 was probably a low point for the car industry, indeed for the country, with an extraordinary 2,922 industrial disputes across the country. The government had to enter into discussion with the union leaders on a whole variety of subjects, if they took action without consultation with the unions; they did so at their peril. The unions were becoming more powerful than the government. There was however a shock waiting for them, in the form of Margaret Thatcher.

It seems strange now looking back, that no one amongst the union leadership appeared ask themselves the following question; why will the public continue to buy British cars, when the quality is poor, the residual values are terrible, delivery is unreliable, the service is indifferent and maintenance is costly? Well the answer was they won’t and they didn’t; foreign manufacturers started to get the upper hand, some would say it was handed to them on a plate. British vehicles abroad, particularly in the US, went from being seen as prestige cars, to being a serious liability which were to be avoided.

Although there is nothing new about car leasing in the UK it was previously very difficult for lease car companies to achieve what is basically the crux of contract hire; to offer a client fully budgeted costs over a two or three year term. How could they achieve that when British cars had just a one year warranty and were constantly going wrong?

Things are very different today British cars once again have a good reputation but how has that been achieved? Essentially through foreign ownership; imagine telling someone in the 1940’s that Rolls Royce would one day be owned by Germany’s BMW or that Bentley would be in the hands of Volkswagen, what would they have thought? Lotus was very British but it is now part of Malaysia’s Proton and Aston Martin that was even more British and supplier of cars to Royalty is controlled by an Islamic group, Investment Dar. Even Land Rover and Jaguar are owned by the Indian group Tata.

There is the Bristol, a company hardly anyone has heard that is a thoroughly British car manufacturer and they have been manufacturing cars since 1946. They produce the Fighter a true Super Car by any measure and a league apart from the more run of the mill Ferrari or Lamborghini. Interestingly their cars can only be bought from their one showroom in Kensington West London, they do not advertise and will not allow motoring journalists to test their cars and yet they have survived.

Some observers say it was inevitable that many of these British manufacturers would be taken over in today’s global business market but far fewer few of the manufacturers in other European countries have been taken over in the same way.

A very positive result of these takeovers is that British jobs have been preserved, not only jobs with the manufacturers but also with the many suppliers to the motor industry and realistically there was no other way these companies were going to survive.

What is the future for the British car industry? Will it regain its market share and become a dominant player once again, with more of our car leasing clients opting for British contract hire cars? Realistically that is very unlikely, they lost market share to manufacturers like Nissan; BMW and Audi, which are very powerful competitors and they will do whatever is necessary to retain their share of the car leasing market.

Why Install A Home Intercom System? November 13th, 2009

Intercom Systems can be a great convenience as well as a handy home security measure. They can put you in touch with people in an instant without the need for you to leave what you are doing. Home Intercom Systems can have a variety of functions and features and several different configurations such as Wireless or Hard-wired installations.

How many times have you been interrupted by a knock on the door only to find that it is someone trying to sell you something that you don’t want? When combined with a camera and monitor, a Video Intercom System allows you to see who is at the door and decide if you want to drop everything and let them in or simply talk to them via the Intercom System if it’s someone you don’t want to let in.

In a home office situation Intercom Systems can be especially handy. Breaking your concentration to answer the door for the vacuum cleaner salesman can not only be frustrating but often times it is hard to regain that concentration when you are feeling uptight about the whole situation. Having a link to the rest of the house can also be handy for keeping in touch with what everyone else is doing and also for ordering that next cup of coffee!

Seriously though, a Home Intercom System can provide you with a good level of security as well. Knowing who is at the front gate or door is a big advantage in this day and age. From the most basic door intercom system right up to a fully automated entry system, your level of personal security is increased. The number of home invasions and robberies is enough to make people think twice when opening the door, especially when you don’t recognize the person. With a well set-up Intercom System you can view the person and find out what the purpose of their visit is before unlocking the door and if you are not sure about them simply leave the door locked and ask them to leave. If they are there to commit a crime once that door is open you are vulnerable.

There are many choices you face when looking to buy and many companies also offer additional components that can turn a simple intercom into a complete intercom security system, including fire alarms and the like. The construction methods of the dwelling or office need to be taken into consideration as well as your individual circumstances and what you want the system to do for you. Wireless systems have their advantages with pre-existing buildings, however position and layout needs to be looked at so there are no ‘dead spots’ within the area that you want them to operate in. Hard-wired system are more reliable and don’t suffer from signal loss, however they would be very difficult to install in some buildings.

Newbies Manual to Putting November 13th, 2009

As you can imagine, one of the most important things that you can do to improve your golf game is improve your putting skills. While it may seem impossible, simply practicing and working to improve a few minor things will greatly improve your skills. Once you have learned what you need to do, rehearse the skills until you have them mastered. Remember, a good putting skill will ultimately translate into a much improved long shot as well so taking the time to practice your putting is very important.

You are of course going to need to practice to get better, but the exact skills that you need to practice tend to vary from player to player. As a general rule of thumb, there are three things that you need to specifically focus on in order to get the best golf game possible. The first skill is ensuring that your swing is proper so that you will contact the ball exactly in the midpoint of the club head. If you are not dead on the center you will never be able to master putting. You simply cannot strike the ball from the side of the club head and expect it to go in a straight line. No matter how long you practice, this is not possible and will result in plenty of irritation over what you are doing wrong.

Once you have worked to improve hitting the ball from the very center of the club head you need to move onto making sure that you always hit the ball in a straight line to the target. This means if the ball needs to go 2 feet away from you towards the lake, you would not want to aim the ball towards the tree beside it. You may think this sounds a bit weird, but many people do not squarely approach the ball to the target. They then stand around and wonder why they are missing their shot. Even if you are off by just a little bit, this can gravely alter your putting skills because the ball is not going to go where you want it to go.

You will likely need to rehearse this point a lot, most people do not realize when they are just slightly off center from the target. Yet even the least difference away from the target will result in a missed shot and an increased handicap. Work on this by ensuring that you take plenty of time to rehearse. This is even a skill that you could practice in your office, or bedroom at home using a small home putting kit. However, going to the driving range is not going to help you here so avoid them if possible while you are working on this skill.

Your last skill that you want to work on to improve your putting skills is working to ensure that you are accelerating the club head when you are actually coming into contact with the ball. Many players make the mistake of slowing the club down right before they actually hit the ball. This will cause you to lose the impetus that you need in order for the ball to make it to your target. Working to make a conscious effort not to slow the club down will more often than not be sufficient in order to improve this skill and give you some improved results.

Why Do You need Contents Insurance? November 13th, 2009

Summary:
Home and contents policies cover all removable items in your house.  Find out how costly it would be to buy new.  You can decide to pay more for additional insurance.

Check out your home and see the removable items that you take for granted, like TVs, the furniture, your clothes and jewellery, even the fish, meat and veg in your freezer. Oh and don’tDo not miss out the lawn mower and garden tools if you keep it in a locked shed down the garden.  And money you may keep in a piggy bank, up to around 250 pounds perhaps. These items constitute the ‘contents’ for insurance purposes and they should be insured for damage or loss.

It is not binding to have contents policies so getting a home loan would not depend on having it, nevertheless it’s extremely significant.

Consumers usually claim if their goods have been stolen or damaged, but contents insurance cover would usually also cover eventualities such as a fire, an explosion, vandalism or damage due to water leaks or overflows.

The expense of replacing the locks is usually incorporated contents insurance policy if your handbag was stolen with the house keys in it.
