Going Out Catfishing Jug Fishing July 31st, 2009

If you are interested in learning how to snag a ridiculous amount of catfish, then you need to take a look at using jug lines. Catfish jugging is an incredible way to maximize your time on the water, and tocatch an enormous amount of catfish. When we go out, a lot of occasions we will deploy over 20 jug lines to yank in the fish. There in lies one of the secrets as to why jug fishing outperforms regular rod and reel fishing, the large increase in hooks and bait in the water.

If you are looking to catch blue catfish, using four to six inch live or dead shad on a heavy twine or leader line with a circle hook is the best way to go. My personal favorite bait to use is live perch. Many times we will partially fillet one side of a perch, just to put some blood and scent into the water, to draw in the big fish. When you are going after yellow catfish, you’ll definitely want to consider using perch to catch them.

We’ll take the jugs, and set them out in an area of the water that has many stumps or other good cover for fish, and secure the jugs to the stumps. We have never been skunked using this method. Often we will catch anywhere from 20-50 pounds of fish every day we run the lines, and we will typically re-bait the lines twice a day. This is an excellent way to catch some very nice catfish.

Jock Itch Cure July 31st, 2009

DISCLAIMER: make sure you consult your doctor before taking any medical advice from anyone, ever!

Jock itch - the nuisance that every person dreads having. Have you ever wondered if there were any easy ways to rid yourself of jock itch? Here are a few simple answers to how to get jock itch out of your life.

This first answer may sound crazy, but make sure to look after your feet. I am sure you are wondering why I would tell you to do such a thing. Well, jock itch is caused by the same fungus that is to blame for “athlete’s foot” and it could very easily find its way to your groin area. Every day, take a look between your toes for any signs of athlete’s foot, which would be visible red scaly skin. Be sure to treat this infection as soon as possible so that you can prevent it from spreading to other areas of your body.

The next solution is to wear underwear that is very loose fitting, such as boxers, and is made out of one hundred percent cotton. It should be comfortable and not tight or restricting, especially if you are playing sports.

Sweating itself does not cause the rash to occur, but the moist and warm environment that sweat creates allows for it to thrive. The third solution is to make an effort to minimize any skin damage. Some shampoos, soaps, and body gels are heavily perfumed, and therefore these items are known to cause a little bit of skin damage. The areas that suffer that damage then become breeding grounds for the unwanted fungi that will soon become full out jock itch.

Third, you should try to take baths or showers with soaps and other products that are not perfumed. When you are washing your hair in the shower, do not let the foam from the soap stay in the creases in the groin area. Once you are out of the shower and drying off, pay special attention to thoroughly drying that area and seeing that all foam and soap made its way out of the said creases. If you make these ideas daily habits, your jock itch is guaranteed to cease. They may seem like they won’t make a difference, but they actually make a world of a difference. If your jock itch does not cure itself with these methods of treatment, consult a doctor for further treatment.

Keeping informed in any particular field is important and for that we see that people are taking note of fashion and accessories as no matter who we are or where we are we need to be taking in the kind of information that is going to see us move forward in our particular chosen field. The various business and finance outlets that we can find sometimes specialize in a particular niche and when it comes to using the internet and computers many people readily bookmark internet sites that provide them with their chosen information source and careers and employment to satisfy their desires.

Moving on from talking about food and drink and nature science people also want to be informed when it comes to dealing with brides. For some wedding flowers is the most important thing in their lives and just like when talking about science and nature there are many internet sites out there dealing with the specific subject of wedding dresses which people search for and visit regularly in order to keep themselves informed. When talking about wedding shoes and nature medicine in particular it is clear that making use of quality fashion and accessories is the way to go as the careers and employment outlets cover a wide range of topics.

Seeing indifferent reviews is one of the trickiest things to do on the internet. Even market places such as Amazon are partial to wrong judgments in their review organization. Items not listed on Amazon are even tougher to find excellent reviews for, specially when there is a pecuniary bonus for an affiliate to leave a favorable review. As Luck Would Have It there is a website that can be trusted for quality reviews of software. It is called buy stats junky and it can be reached by clicking on the link. The products reviewed are really used daily by Alex so it is a reliable site.

Congress Thanks Scots Poet Robert Burns On His Inspiration To The American Founding Fathers! July 28th, 2009

Robert Burns Scotland’s National Poet created a big impact on the American House of Representatives earlier this year. Burns proved beyond all doubt that he had helped inspire many of the early founding fathers of America. In return The House of Representatives passed a resolution recognising his role and encouraging the 200 plus organisations in the USA to continue forging links between Scotland and The USA.

North Carolina Congressman Mike McIntyre (himself of Scottish descent) was the person responsible in proposing the resolution to be passed by the House of Representatives.

The Resolution also recognised that Robert Burns had truly inspired the Founding Fathers of America writing inspirational poems such as “Ode for General Washington’s Birthday” and “Ballard on the American War”.

“Scots Wha Hae”

Scots Wha Hae by Robert Burns was at one time regarded as the unofficial national anthem and is still a strong contender if Scotland gets its independence. It was strongly inspired by the American struggle for independence from the same English government.

Robert Burns was one of many who hoped that the American victory for independence would lead to similar revolutions right across Europe including of course the Scots claim for independence against the English rule.

President Abraham Lincoln

Abraham Lincoln was one of many Americans who took part in Burns Night celebrations. Shortly before his election he not only attended but gave the famous immortal speech to remind every person there exactly why they are meeting to celebrate the birth and life of Robert Burns who was an inspiration to so many around the world. It was reported that Lincoln was so moved enough by Robert Burns life and his poetry he tried with mixed success to give the address in an America version of the Scots Tongue (not and easy task for anyone to do even us born and living in Scotland would have to practice this).

Have a wonderful Monday morning! July 28th, 2009

Monday mornings, don’t you just love them? The alarm goes off. You slowly open your eyes and you groan. Just 15 minutes more sleep you think as your head hits the pillow and then you remember it is Monday morning. Why am I so tired? Then you pull your tired body out of bed and think “I should feel better than this after a night’s sleep”.

It used to be for me but now I actually like Monday mornings. It took a while before I got to the point where I could say that. I tried a number of different things because I knew there had to be an answer out there somewhere. First was exercise which did in fact help some although I woke up sore many mornings. Then I tried eating a bigger breakfast which helped more throughout the morning but still didn’t launch me out of bed. Supplements! That had to be the answer. After trying vitamins and minerals and other substances I did land on one that really made a difference. It came in a really unique green glass bottle with a picture of a man on a beach blowing a conch. It is called TAHITIAN NONI® Juice and made from a funny looking fruit called Noni fruit from Tahiti.

The first thing I discovered was I wasn’t dragging through the day. After the first week I actually had energy to spare! Then I stopped drinking it to see if it was TAHITIAN NONI® Juice making me feel this way or my imagination. Sure enough my energy started running out again.

The next thing I found was that I wasn’t getting sick as often. While those around me were getting sick, it just passed me by. I found out later it’s because TAHITIAN NONI® Juice boosts the immune system. Needless to say it’s a keeper for me.
